The Thrift Shop Impacting The Community

Have you ever been to the Lifebridge Thrift Shop at 47 Canal Street in Salem, MA? If you have, you’re probably aware of the amazing deals and bargains inside.

As of July 1, 2018, Lifebridge has expanded services with a merger of The Grace Center in Gloucester, a day resource center serving more than 1100 individuals yearly who are experiencing homelessness. One of the reasons we were able to expand our services is due to the success of The Lifebridge Thrift Shop.

Lifebridge Thrift Shop Community Impact

The thrift shop has been an essential provider for our funding at Lifebridge. Beyond supporting us to continue serving the North Shore, the thrift shop has become a large supplier of clothing and essentials for our clients.

When visitors come to Salem and they’re looking for something interesting and vintage, they will surely find some gems at our Thrift Shop. Everything from clothes, jewelry, treasures and lightly used household items are all tucked away in the thrift shop, waiting to be exactly what someone needs.

Finding the Perfect Bargain

As guests enter the store, they’re greeted by our staff and volunteers. Staff is available to assist you in finding what you need. If you have your heart set on something while bargain hunting, they can point you in the right direction.

There’s nothing like the feeling of finding the perfect bargain after searching for what feels like forever. You can find the last and most perfect accessory you need when you give Lifebridge a visit. Find brand name clothes at discount prices, and household items at an affordable cost. There’s not another thrift store in Salem offering the same second-hand products quite like the Lifebridge Thrift Shop.

We welcome donations of furniture, clothing, art, household items, and books. We do not accept children’s items. Donations may be dropped off Monday – Saturday (until 12 Noon on Saturday) at 47 Canal Street, Salem. Check out the Lifebridge Thrift Shop website for full hours of operation.
